A long break …
I haven't been lazy but I had other priorities. Hopelessly days are only 24 hours. And one still needs to sleep.
I'm renovating and refreshing this website as I feel guilty I imagine for some students I have this year I haven't had time to really prepare them to the Olympiads as they could have deserve.
Really sorry. But I needed time to prepare an exam myself.
So, to who it may concerned:

J'essaye de faire un tri des exercices et des corrections dont je dispose de manière à donner un bon aperçu de ce qui peut être tenté.

Une mise à jour des dernières années.
For the others topics, I'm just refreshing the links. Hopefully next year I can prepare some surprises.
April 2013
Finally, we could prepare, a bit, at least, for the French Mathematical Olympiads and for the Concours Général.
The school year is still on, and the SMO awaiting us.
There aren’t much challengers in the school this year for this difficult exercise.
Let’s see what will happen…
November 2012: difficult start.
Regarding the timetables of this school year, I have to change the schedules.
For the Terminales as well as for the Premières, the lab will open during the AP, starting in November.
For the Secondes, it will be the same, but starting in January.
I still hope there will be many participants, especially for the preparation to the French Mathematical Olympiads and then for the Singaporean ones.
September 2012: New school year, new challenges.
Starting mid-september, the lab is alive again.
I wish there will be more students this year, especially from the level “Seconde”.
September 2011, the Lfs Maths Lab started a new school year.
The Lab is on since the beginning of the year.
Two schedules: Monday and Tuesday form 12h20 to 13h25, in E411.
Every students from Seconde to Terminale is welcome.
We agreed with the interested students coming from the beginning, that until march, Monday we will focused on French Olympiads and Tuesday on the Concours Général.
Nevertheless, all can be done and there is no definite program.

January 2011, the Lfs Maths Lab website is taking a new form
The site is still under construction. I’m working on it to improve it.
Please be tolerant the time I complete it.
Remarks:
• The site will be completed after each rendez-vous or event.
• The content isn’t bound to the classical classes, nor the level and the Lab isn’t any plus or minus for the next levels.
• Why in english? Why not ?
Most of the research is in english at the present time.
So …
Moreover, many competitions are international.
I find it a good way for us all to train and to adapt to the changing world.
Nevertheless the wordings and solutions could also be in french or another languages.
March 2010, the Lfs MAths Lab opened its doors.
The purpose of the Lab is to develop the math skills of some students, who are keen to solve problems and to challenge their reasoning abilities.
We will be presenting famous to peculiar enigma and problems, from pure logic to specific math technics.
The idea is to teach the students to get the good reflexes, the perspicacity and the technics, in order to react in the best ways in front of competitions wordings.
The Lab will also work on promptness.
We will switch between french and english.
We also will try to develop the math culture of the students.
It is also supposed to be fun, in the sense that being stuck on a problem is fun.
We hope the attendees will enjoy it and that the Lab has a long life ahead.
September 2010, the Lfs Maths Lab started a new school year.
Due to the reform of the lycée, started this year in Seconde, and also, because of new projects, the Lfs MAths Lab needed to be reorganized.
This site will try to express these changes.
You will find here the continuation of the previous site, now called leisure.
Then there will be a page for each aspects of the Lfs MAths Lab:
• CG for “le concours général de mathématiques”: for the Terminale S
• Olympiads for the academic french olympiads of mathematics, international olympiads and singaporean olympiads.
• Training & Development: this folder will contain different things (from the advanced training sessions in Seconde to some english maths qualifications).
