11th Grade, Scientific section.

Overview:
Students will be presented to another side of mathematics. We will go deeper in each subjects they have been taught.
Technically, but also in reasoning and in abstraction.
A good year to come. Challenging one.
Contents:
Functions represent nearly half our curriculum.
We will go in depth of what have been studied in 10th grade.
Then we will go through derivatives and fundamentals of differential calculus.

Then we will go through derivatives and fundamentals of differential calculus.
We introduce discrete calculus:
• defining sequences
• arithmetic and geometric sequences
• modeling with sequences
Students will also be introduced to limits through the study of sequences behaviors.

Students will go through:
• wrapping the real line around a circle
• defining cosine and sine of a real number
• solving geometric problems
• first trigonometric equations

2 parts:
• collinearity of vectors and consequences
• dot product and consequences
• collinearity of vectors and consequences
• dot product and consequences
Study of statistical parameters:
• average & standard deviation
• median & quartiles
Statistics give the opportunity to study sampling and simulation.

Chapter 2!
Students should be step by step able to create a n algorithm function of their needs in solving problems.
Sequences give the opportunity to enter in the recursive world of algorithm.
